Dr Evangeline Obi is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician that graduated with High Honors from Ross University School of Medicine, currently located in Barbados. She obtained her first degree in Microbiology prior to proceeding to medical school in Nigeria. She then proceeded to USA in 1999 and started medical school and graduated in 2007. She did her Family Medicine residency in Virginia and has been in practice for over 15 years. She is also an active participant in her local chapter of the American Academy of Family Medicine and is member of the education, Public Health and Advocacy committees. Dr Obi has a passion for disease prevention and involved in many community efforts to reduce disease burden in her community through education, screenings and community events. She currently provides evidence-based care to patients with chronic diseases and guide them to take ownership of their chronic disease management at home.
