Anita B. Jones, MD, OB-GYN

Dr. Anita B. Jones is an obstetrician-gynecologist committed to advancing health equity and providing comprehensive, compassionate care to women of all backgrounds. She earned her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine and completed her OB-GYN residency at Pennsylvania Hospital within the University of Pennsylvania Health system, where she developed a strong foundation in both general and high-risk obstetrics, gynecologic surgery, and preventative women’s health.

Driven by a deep commitment to social justice and community health, Dr. Jones has dedicated much of her career to working within Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and other safety-net healthcare systems. Her work focuses on expanding access to quality reproductive care for medically underserved populations, with a particular emphasis on patient education, culturally competent care, and continuity of services across the reproductive lifespan.

Dr. Jones is a passionate advocate for women’s health and believes in empowering patients to take an active role in their care. She has experience managing a wide spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic conditions and is particularly interested in reproductive health education, prenatal care for high-risk pregnancies, and adolescent gynecology.

Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Jones enjoys sewing, traveling, mentoring future healthcare professionals, and spending time with her family.
