Colleen M. Wallace, MD, FAAP

Board-Certified Pediatrician

Dr. Colleen M. Wallace is a board-certified pediatrician joining Greater Baden Medical Center. She brings over 13 years of clinical experience spanning emergency, inpatient, and outpatient pediatric care, with subspecialty expertise in obesity medicine and developmental-behavioral pediatrics.

Dr. Wallace earned her Doctor of Medicine from Howard University College of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Inova Children’s Hospital, an ACGME-accredited program. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, and certified in RITA-T autism assessment. She holds active medical licensure in Maryland and the District of Columbia and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Wallace has practiced across a range of clinical settings, including nine years as a Pediatric Hospitalist at the University of Maryland Medical Center, where she delivered high-acuity inpatient care across the pediatric floor, nursery, and delivery suite while teaching and mentoring medical students and Family Medicine residents. She has also provided high-volume primary care in federally qualified health center and outpatient settings, managing acute illness, chronic disease, developmental concerns, and pediatric mental health.

Dr. Wallace’s clinical interests include developmental and behavioral pediatrics, childhood obesity, and autism identification in primary care.
