Dr. B. Michelle Harris is an experienced community and public health Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). She also holds the position of Associate Professor at the only public university in the District of Columbia where she guides students along the path of providing client-centered nutrition care. Her focus, in addition to providing quality Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) care to Ryan White Program customers, is to inspire them to become empowered to take the leading role in management of their health care for HIV-related health issues and for reducing their risks for other chronic health conditions. Dr. Harris celebrates diversity in all its expressions and is excited to work with a team of colleagues and Ryan White Program customers who readily share their knowledge and experiences to positively impact their own lives and the lives and health of others, including their families and their communities.
