Dr. Iturbe-Ortiz was born and raised in Carolina, Puerto Rico. She attended San Juan Bautista School of Medicine, completed a pediatric residency at University of Puerto Rico Pediatric Hospital and subsequently moved to Connecticut to practice as a general pediatrician. Her commitment and passion to eradicate health disparity brought her recently to the DMV area to pursue a master’s in public health at George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health.
